TRIED CREATING MOSS TERRARIUM
This is my first attempt at making an open moss terrarium. I wanted to create a tiny moss-covered landscape with a single rock as the centerpiece, using only materials I collected locally.
How I made it:
* Clay pot.
*Bottom layer of rocks and coarse grit.
*Local garden soil shaped into a small hill.
*A natural stone placed in the center.
*Moss collected from nearby rocks and bricks, carefully arranged over the soil.
It looked great for about a week, but then I noticed some white fuzzy fungus growing between the moss patches. I carefully cut away and removed the visible fungus.
I'm wondering,,What likely caused the fungus?Was it due to excess moisture, poor airflow, or the lack of a drainage hole?How can I prevent it from coming back without harming the moss?
Any other tips to keep this setup healthy?
