Hi I'm new here, what are these moss (or not) and are they safe to pick to propagate? Because it is beside the sewers and one of my friends said there might be bacteria.
So is it safe to pick up to plant?
Whats the name of the moss? (If it is)
Any tips would help a lot!!
Lil walk in a local park, always great to have a nice forest by a river for some recharging. The skunk cabbage is past the smells awesome stage, alas.
I have about 4 different mosses in here and I think one of them is semi aquatic I have some testing in an aquarium but if anyone knows it would help!
A quiet forest stream covered in soft moss and flowing light.
In this gouache painting, I tried to capture the feeling of a forest slowly breathing through water, stone, and sunlight.

So I raised this pothos and she’s grown well, been wanting to give her a moss pole so I did so. Put some loose zip ties on some parts to ensure she doesn’t flop over.
However, did I do it correctly? Is the pot too small? I have a bit of soil in the nursery pot to stabilize the moss pole, is that okay? And I’m planning on buying a moss drip thing, but in the meantime, how do I know when to water and how to?
Glad for everyone that still makes moss. For me the time isn’t available to do any moss or anything related to moss. Just like to browse photos here and think where moss will be one day.
