Another patient of Dr Enrico Robotti shares her experience
Following on from my post about my devastating experience, I have updated my Instagram page with the photographs and experience of another patient of Professor Enrico Robotti, who has given me permission to share her story. Link below:

She is struggling with a number of significant post-operative issues following her 2024 surgery. She has sought more than ten consultations in Italy and abroad with specialists in reconstructive rhinoplasty to assess her result and possible options for correction.
Below is an extract from her account, in her own words:
Despite the fact that the surgical record described the outcome as positive, with reconstruction and restoration of the nasal midline, my actual post-operative result was devastating.
Since 2024, the year of my surgery, I have sought more than ten consultations in Italy and abroad with leading specialists in reconstructive rhinoplasty in order to assess the result and understand the possibility of correcting it.
According to the assessments I have received, there are significant structural and aesthetic abnormalities. The overall quality of my current nose has been assessed at approximately 40–45/100.
The current nose presents:
- significant asymmetry and deviation of the nasal pyramid;
- a broad bony base;
- a pronounced brow-to-tip line on the right side;
- a drooping and retracted tip;
- marked columellar retraction;
- marked irregularities that are particularly visible because of the thin skin;
- an overall amorphous aesthetic appearance, with no clearly defined nasal lines or coherent aesthetic concept, whether Greek, French, or otherwise.
In other words, although the operative report describes restoration of the nasal midline and a successful reconstruction, the present anatomical and aesthetic result does not correspond to that description.
The photographs document the actual post-operative outcome and the structural abnormalities that remain after the 2024 surgery.
I am sharing this because I believe patients should be able to hear about other patients' experiences and make informed decisions for themselves.
