Working on a dream exploration game with my own original story,tips and thoughts so far?

Im still working on reworking the nexus and adding new effects/items,since the old one was really bad :( I kinda want to make the grass red,but i dont think that looks good.

There is also gonna be a part where you find a flashlight to access the living room in the real world because your character is canonically starving from being in a dream for too long

also its 16+ because roblox

Only Phighting character i've drawn so far maybe Ill draw others when im done drawing every single slingshot skin

Anyways ill prob draw like bugshot next,and then cozyshot,and then seashot,then catshot,and then lastly (for now) cursedshot (id..need to practice drawing that tho)

Is there anywhere else for me to go if I want to make games with my friends?

Now,I've been developing Roblox games for around 2 years,and I've learnt how to do scripting,modelling,building,and I've been an artist for the longest time. I make pretty simple story/psychological horror games,
and rp games,which rely on social interaction,and is the more successful thing i've made.

However,firstly,Roblox has destroyed all social aspects of their platform to the more recent age update,which made my RP game go from 300 daily active users to less than 50.Advertising is not an option,to the target audience being completely out of reach,and the lack of funds as a solo developer who makes games for fun and passion on a crappy laptop.

This doesn't impact what I really want to make though,which is a story game that my online friend asked to make with me.I've made several story games before,but I felt really attached to the idea we had in mind for this one,and we had a pretty big plan in mind.
But im worried that when we're done with this project,we end up wasting our time due to the lack of people being able to play it.Sure,this project isn't meant to be targeted to little kids,but I feel like it'll struggle to reach the people I need it to (if you get what I mean,I'm not good with words sometimes.).Besides,I'm starting to dislike this platform as a whole,due to the decisions made in the updates.

So,Is there another platform as an option?

By that,I mean an easy way for me to make games with my friend,like how easy it is to do in Roblox .One where we don't have to pass the file to eachother constantly just to make changes.Something that is similar to the Team Create system in Roblox
I've googled this but not many options came up that is plausible to me,like Unity,which is too hefty for my laptop.Or should I just go through with trying to make the game on Roblox,anyways?
It's harder for me to make it on another platform as well,due to my experience already that is on Roblox,and the fact that the storytelling might be suited best on Roblox,but I still have a few uncertainties,think about it like sunk cost fallacy.
I also already have experience with programs,such as Renpy,or RPGmaker MZ,which I am still learning.

I made another OC model + other stuff

Hi same person that made the Shark one

First slide is Carp with his poncho,the second one is without,since...i made it so he can't really pose much with his arms with it on.Oh well.

Third slide is a wip of him (to prove i made it duh)

Fourth slide is his reference

Fifth slide is some..comic im working on lol,only 1 page for now.

and the ones after are just doodles and art stuff of Shark n Carp

and im going back to drawing more of my phighting ocs and probably gonna make a 3d model of my 2nd one

im also learning how to master Slingshot. Aka not spamming M1 like how i spam my shots because i cant aim in many gun related games

I made another OC + doodles

So i initially told myself that I was only gonna make one but I realized I couldn't really go anywhere with Shark's lore if he's just gonna be completely alone/not involved with any character (and i would mischaracterize canon characters!)
...also i feel like it would be a complete nightmare to survive alone in Playground (i think) despite his swimming skills that would give him a huge advantage.

Id just like to know if the lore I gave on the pic for my other character is accurate enough to phighting lore

ALSO ALSO I didn't come up with movesets for them because im very atrocious when it comes to balancing ANYTHING its either grossly overpowered or as weak as a coughing baby theres no inbetween (this is why im not in any asym or fighting related projects)

So i made a 3d model of my OC

I dont have a proper design for his gear yet,thats why he doesn't have it right now. (just pretend its de-summoned or smth)

So fun fact!...not so fun fact,actually.
While i was in the rendering process,Blender crashed and when I reopened it,the texture was gone.I full on forgot to save the texture image. So i had to redo the whole thing (pain.)

also UV unwrapping is the bane of my existence
also this isnt my first time 3d modelling,Ive practiced for months years ago,just first time doing something more...Phighting styled???? I dunno...I still need to improve on some aspects.

How do you uh...OC???

Order of images is based on new to old.The newest/1st image is drawn right after ive done reading DITF (so far)

Gear choice explanation:
So this is actually my favorite gear on roblox...because it was very fun to troll around with.Legit,it was HILARIOUS to watch people be so confused while I attached sharks to them. SO I wanted to make an OC out of it even though im sure something like this already exists.

Firstly,
Any critiques on the design would be nice,this is due to the fact that ive designed him before i even read DITF,but im not sure that would even matter that much.I've also made him before I was even aware of Grav's existence.

Second,
I want to make him 'canon-compliant',or fitting to phighting's canon lore.However,I am not sure what to do with him,or what region he should even belong in,because I don't know if any fits him. (especially NOT lost temple) So some ideas would be nice.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated
