Ps5 Controller shuts off immediately
Hi, today I repaired one of my PS5 controllers by swapping out the broken black midframe. Whenever I try to turn the controller on it flashes for less than a second and shuts off. Similarly, when I put it to charge it pulses orange once then goes dark.
However when plugging it into my laptop to try and update the firmware it connected immediately and the laptop recognized it. Additionally, it showed the battery had full charge.
My PS5 recognized it for a second when I plugged it in using a USB and told me to pair it again using a USB or something along the lines of that. I was careful and don't think I caused any hardware damage. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance :)
EDIT: My controller works completely fine when connected to my pc through USB. It is recognized by windows ans steam and I can play with it. But when it is unplugged it loses all power. I tried using a different, known working battery and it didn't work. Additionally using the battery from this controller worked fine inside another controller.
