Why was Billy Knight "TWA"?

As the title says. I've tried to look it up but every source just lists the nick name, or gives me an incorrect answer. I had a memory of it being an acronym for "The Wonder of the ABA" but that appears to be wrong.

This has just been bothering me for a while. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
