How important is a sunroof / panoramic sunroof in your buying decision?

Hi guys. I’m curious, how important is a sunroof / panoramic sunroof in your decision when buying new or used? I see so many guys posting photos with sunroofs open, but when I had one hardly used it. Plus cars like Toyota hardly offer them, you have to step up to models near BMW in price.

New RAV4 Pricing vs used premium SUV

Hi everyone. I noticed the new RAV4 prices, especially in top trims are reaching near premium car levels while still having a lot of hard plastics.

Curious to know if better to purchase a more premium one to two year old used SUV (say Lexus, maybe a more reliable variant of X3 etc).

I know resale will be great on Rav, but surely at these levels it’s pushing the reliability and brand selling points?

Adopting a dog (old vs young)

Hi everyone. I’m starting to look into adopting a dog and one thing that I wonder about is adopting older vs younger. In a way I feel bad for those old dogs who spend their last days at a shelter, yet it is such a hard road to walk with an older dog. Any of you have experience in adopting an older dog (say 7 years+) knowing they won’t have that many years left? Perhaps adopting a young and old dog together may ease the sadness when the time comes while giving an older dog a good last few years. Thanks!

Opinions on Haval

Hi guys. I’m driving a Toyota Rav-4 (gen 4) and it’s been super reliable and decent, but I’m starting to get that feeling where you justify getting another car. In my case it’s not needed as the Rav can outlive me, but I would like a hybrid vehicle and a vehicle with a few more items like sunroof etc.

I’m hesitant on Haval or Chinese vehicles due to the perception and history of GWM Steeds etc. How are the newer ones reliability and resale wise? Specifically the H6 version whether petrol or hybrid.

When I look at used vehicles their resale are not as bad as I was expecting they are lower than Rav but not by as much as I was expecting. I believe it only falls off a cliff with high mileage (eg 120-150k kms plus).

If I ever decide on one it would be used to not take the big knock but still relatively new eg 2023/2024 with under 50k kms on clock. The question then becomes how many kms before it becomes risky to keep it reliability & resale wise eg sell under 120k kms?
