Girish AD about BKU

Feels like Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is gonna be a treat for both the eyes and the heart. ❤️ Honestly don’t care much about the other two, I’m pretty sure this one is not gonna disappoint. 🖤

Enough with them fighting men. I want to see a movie where they fight each other.

I wanna see a movie where these women fight each other for once. Proper female vs female rivalry, beef, ego clashes and all that chaos. Not everything has to be women teaming up to beat some guy.

Age Gap ≠ Grooming

People with progressive thoughts are usually the ones who oppose this the most. A 24-year-old with a 14-year-old is obviously wrong because one of them is a minor. It raises concerns about grooming, exploitation, and an adult being attracted to a child.

But once both people are adults, they have the right to choose their partner. Shaming them for that choice isn't right either. So if an upcoming movie has a 25-year-old heroine and a 40-year-old hero, people shouldn't automatically trash it just because of the age gap. Judge it by how the relationship is portrayed, not just the numbers.

Girish AD × Mamitha

Among Girish AD's films, the characters played by Mamitha in Super Sharanya and Premalu are easily the most impactful and popular female characters.

People still remember Sona and Reenu even today.

Sona became a part of popular culture. More than the heroine, people loved Sona and Mamitha's performance in the film.

The same goes for Reenu in Premalu. She created a wave that went beyond Kerala.

None of Girish AD's other female characters have had this level of impact. Mamitha's performance deserves special credit for that.

Maybe that's why he chose Mamitha again for the Bethlehem Kudumba Unit as well. Whenever he wants to bring a character to life in the best possible way, Mamitha has always delivered.

Hoping Ashley becomes another iconic character like them.

So happy that Pearle got exposed.

I've been waiting for Pearle Maaney to get exposed in front of a neutral audience. To me, she's always come across as a fake and manipulative person. Back in Bigg Boss, she built this whole "paavam, innocent, good girl" image and fooled a lot of us, including me.

She had all the freedom in her personal life, but on the show she was crying saying, "My mom doesn't even allow me to wear shorts." What an acting. People like Swetha and Ranjini, who already knew her before Bigg Boss, tried to expose her real personality but ended up getting painted as the villains.

The day Dilsha won was when I completely changed my opinion about Pearle. She couldn't even handle another woman winning, unfollowed Dilsha out of frustration, and blocked everyone who questioned her. That said everything I needed to know.

Now she's busy playing the "perfect mom, perfect wife, perfect daughter-in-law" character for YouTube. To her YouTube army, she is ''Mother India''.

I hope this controversy finally destroys the fake image she spent years building "inspirational star," "motivational star," "best human being on earth," and all that nonsense.

I also remember her once posting that AI would take away everyone else's jobs, but people in the entertainment industry like her were safe. That alone made me feel she's incredibly self-centred. When you're that privileged, it's easy not to care about people whose livelihoods are actually at risk.

People seriously need to stop putting people like her on a pedestal.

And whatever other titles she loses, one nickname is probably going to stick with her forever: "Chanakam Pearle."
