Lash lift recs?

Hey ladies! Had a lash lift done a couple of weeks ago that went haywire. One eye’s lashes look great, but the other eye’s lashes have fallen and twisted to the point that it’s noticeable. I called the place that did the lift asking if there was any way they could take a quick look at them to see if anything can be done, but that was three days ago and I haven’t heard back. I don’t want to be rude, so I’ll let it go. It is what it is.

Anyway, I’m not sure if it can be corrected and I’ll live if that’s the case, but I’d love the opinion of someone who is reputable.

Is there anyone in Philly or even in ML that you’d recommend?

My left lashes just will not cooperate. I could really use some advice before I lose it

Hi all,

This is my third lift and the worst one yet. I posted a picture of my right lashes (pretty good) and left lashes.

Lift 1 - lashes were pretty intense to the point that they were hitting my brow bone. Surprisingly, both lashes remained the same. They looked great up until week 5 which is (from what I understand) completely normal. I got my second lift at week 7.

Lift 2 - This lift was way less dramatic and was a bit more natural. After 24 hours, my left lashes decided to go off on their own and started either straightening or bending. I spoke to my lash tech and she suggested that we relax them. She performed the service on day 4. They looked pretty good for a couple of weeks until they started to twist again. I used castor oil nightly to try to relax them, and it helped a tad, but wasn’t entirely effective.

Lift 3 - After 6 weeks and regular castor oil nighttime application, I decided to try a new lash tech based on a referral. She performed a pretty natural lift. Honestly it was less than I was used to, but that’s OK. Same deal, after about a week the lashes went haywire. I went back to ask her for advice and she said it appeared that the reason this was happening b is because I have less lashes on my left side. I genuinely do not think that’s the case, it’s just hard to visualize all of them since they are not uniform.

Anyway, I’m pretty crushed. I have a lot of events and travel coming up and I really loved the confidence the first lash lift brought. This just makes me feel really hopeless and concerned they will always be this way.

Oh, worth noting I sleep on both sides, waited 48 hours after the lift before getting them wet, and brush them lightly twice a day. I also only use a gentle cleanser on my face.

If you have any advice I’d love to hear it! Thanks!

Independent manicurist recs?

Looking for some nail tech recommendations. Thanks to some recent subpar manicures, the health of my nails has taken a sharp turn for the worst.

I’m a pretty simple client in that I’m not into designs or anything elaborate. I’m located in Manayunk, but happy to travel to someone anywhere in the city.

Thanks in advance!
