Eden Brothers

Just putting a warning out to anyone thinking about buying zinnia seeds from Eden Brothers. I was very disappointed by all the seeds I got from them this past season!!

Slide 4 is one of the best blooms I got, also slide 7 is the swizzle I got. They were cool but most of them were like 4 inches tall and couldn't make it into a bouquet.

I was really looking forward to growing Queeny Limes this year and these flowers were such a let down.

Curious to hear everyone else thoughts. And I already loaded up on Johnny's seeds for next year!!

POV I dabbed it all

Some empties from the past couple of months and I'm all out. I really need to keep smoking my home grow but it's hard to focus on that when there's so much fire out there!!

Too hot to plant?

Hello everyone! Long time gardener and plant lover here but relatively new to dahlias and also working with my new raised beds! Last year I grew in ground but didn't have the best sun so I wanted to set up garden beds to get the best sunlight!

I planted all of my tubers in pots this spring as I was still finishing my raised beds, finished them early June!

I had a few stragglers that were just poking out of the soil a couple weeks ago so I gave them some more time to grow in pots before I transplanted them to the bed. I was ready to transplant last night but we are getting a heat wave and I started wondering if I should hold off?

I am in Maine, Thursday is supposed to be mid 90s. By Saturday it will be back in the 80s.

Do you think I should wait to transplant until the weekend?
