What's your favorite studio album of tDB?

Encephalous Crime is great. Senor boombox is great. Perfume is great. Uncivilized Area is great. Hot Air Balloon is great and so is Chemical Warfare Brigade... but honestly I've been on a Otherwise Law Abiding Citizen kick. The other ones previously mentioned contain the classics, which we all love and made us love the Biscuits, but the newer sound of OLAC is alot of fun.

STORY OF THE WORLD!!!!

My first one!!! Took me 22 fucking years!!!! I don’t think they ever played it here before in Albany.

Band sounds good. I was skeptical. But we’re going to where I see Bisco for.

Nothing will top the Wind At 4 to Fly version tho with Magner’s synths hot in the mix. But man, finally!!!!

Now I just have Magellan and Aceetobee left to catch

"I survived a Bisco show and walked in to a dream..."

I know its known as a shitty song just bc its not a dirty jam, but i think they should encore with "fish out of water " more.... let's bring back Barbers shitty lyrics. At least they are original and we know he wrote it.

Everyone

says "tear down the tree of life"

Its what makes us human

The swallowing makes us more than human

(By the way . . . That includes dan otero aka the fat man who said it when he realized he didnt take a girls virginity . . . He said it about the guy who took katies virginity . . . He said "tear down that guy"

He said it about me in boulder . . . He said "tear down the alpha male who is with vera while I am stuck fucking this girl with the busted face . . . He found out I took tesss virginity in the tree of life and he said TEAR DOWN THE TREE OF LIFE" like everyone else does . . . But I needed him to protect me from scott and my father [hes paul tenser too] and so I invited him into the tree to get a blowjob from tess while I fucked her

Eddie is what is known as "the goblin" [by the way im 100 percent not deleting these tonight to prove a point about the words "tear down the tree of life . . . I will leave this thread open and nothing will happen]

"The goblin" as eddie and his vile goblin sisters and goblin mother are known exist to get me/jesus [mike aquila aka number Wang] to say "tear down the tree of life" . . . Everyone has to say it . . . Saying it is what keeps the tree of life alive

Its crazy but its true

Devon aka the bear gets me swallowing beginning the crucifixion

Eddie aka the goblin then inflicts the crucifixion and hammers the nails

But its all a facade . . . Remember silver spring everyone?  Or october 23rd?  Or the adderall night with matt?

[Fyi I have to delete this thread at the end of the night when I go to bed so I can look at girl dinner diaries 2morrow but ill keep the file on my phone

Scouts honor]

Opinion on Disco Biscuits?

Never really listened to them, a lot seem to dig. Was just
curious what ya’ll’s thoughts are on the live shows? Only jam bands I’ve seen in person & actively listen to are D&C, Goose, & Phish

Is this is a sustainable career trajectory for the band?

I concur with all 'tDB are on fire right now...' posts recently, and think that Marlon seems like a great fit and is owed much of the credit for vibes being high currently. I'm wondering if the band is having the success they need to keep going. It seems very hard to be making it as a mid-tier touring act right now. For a while after streaming devestated the music sales category artists were doing well touring, especially jam bands because of the nature of their fan bases, merch sales etc. More recently the industry has shifted again with LiveNation and TicketMaster really extracting much of the profitability out of tours. Plus, I think the fan bases for band like tDB, Umphrey's, moe. etc. are just not seeing as many shows. I don't see nearly as many these days with a family and career of my own. I've run the numbers best I can, spoken to friends with some insider knowledge, and it seems like it is unlikely that the band is making very much money at all even at 75-100 shows per year. They may have been making $250-350k during the good years, maybe some bigger years with Camp Bisco success, but I wonder if they're making $100-150k p/yr that doesn't really support their lifestyles is it sustainable to continue playing and putting on shows. I'm not interested in whether people think $150k is a lot of money, reality is that it isn't if you live on Philly's mainline and have kids to raise. And I know Barber has other income sources. My curiosity is more about whether we think they're growing their fan base and having the kind of success touring that makes it sustainable for them to keep it up. I go to every show that I reasonably can, but it isn't 10/15/20 shows a yr anymore, maybe 2-3. B4L

Northlands 2026: emergency after Biscuits

This fest had a ton of fathers and kids because it was Father's Day weekend. The weather was beautiful, the music was great, and the people—staff included—made it feel special. Everybody seemed so laid back. Ear-to-ear smiles and long hugs everywhere you looked.

After the show ended Sunday night, an older gentleman had a medical emergency. My daughter and I had noticed him earlier during the show. He was dancing his ass off with this giant, peaceful smile on his face. I remember pointing him out and saying, "See that guy? Maybe he's in finance, maybe he's a 1st grade teacher, who knows. But right now he doesn't give a %$#@!. He's letting loose and straight dancing his ass off." I love seeing that.

Anyway, after the show, that same guy was on the ground taking what at first looked like a little nap. It quickly became clear he was barely conscious, confused, and not responding verbally.

Then another guy—the same guy who, just minutes earlier, had seemed completely carefree and lost in the music—dropped right down beside him. Instant game face.

I was holding my phone for light while he worked to get the older gentleman to open his eyes. The man on the ground was mostly communicating through eye movements, but the helper was incredibly calm and kind with him. He was speaking softly, taking deep breaths, trying to get the guy to mirror him. You could see the empathy in the way he handled the situation, and honestly it was moving to watch.

At one point he said the man's name, and you could definitely see his eyes perk up. There was for sure some communication happening. Not long after that, the EMTs arrived. Once they had things under control, the guy quietly stood up and walked away.

I don't know who he was, but he seemed like exactly the right person to be there in that moment.

I know some people think all the "community" talk is BS, but experiences like that remind me why I keep coming back. Obviously not every single person is kind, but I meet the coolest characters at every show. People who genuinely care about each other. In today's world, that's refreshing.

So thank you, my friend. You know who you are.

Keep dancing.

Much love.
