Handmade crochet sweater
I love making my own clothes. This really makes me feel like a wizard, going out to my garden and picking my tomatoes and cucumbers was extra fun, but the wild berries along my stream had a few too many snaggy thorns!

The stripes turned out sooo satisfying
Yarn is from Hobbii
Pattern from Hannah Drapinski, I followed her YouTube tutorial. So happy with it! About to go cast some spells or brew a potion
I have been saving this yarn for years and years, just waiting for the perfect crochet project to come my way! I can't wait for Autumn so that I can wear this all the time
My first time trying to three ply! I bought the pink and purple I used for the stripes from Wing and a Prayer Farm in NH, and a box one of my students sent me from Amazon had the two other colors. Spun on my EEW6, super happy with how it turned out! This is about half of what I have
I've been working on this jean jacket on and off for about 2 years now. I added the last flowers back in October and to clear that I was done... And then I would a few times this spring, and decided that the bottom near the stems was too empty looking. I'm adding a few pansies in now, but I think that I still might want to add some more. Does anybody have any suggestions of flowers and or placement? I just don't know when to stop
One of my most favorite things to wear, because it's perfectly comfortable (I searched thrift store for years before I found the perfect jean jacket for this project) but mostly because it shows so much of my hard work.
I thought I was done adding to my embroidered jean jacket, but when I started wearing it out this spring I decided there was too much empty space down by the stems... So I am adding some pansies. Any suggestions on what else might be a good flower to add? Or where?
Feeling like a flower fairy in my crochet skirt and my embroidered flower jacket. Wore my skirt out for the first time today!
We had fun at the NH sheep and wool festival, pairing the skirt over the dress was the right call with this weather, the day ended up rainy and cold but we still had a great time.
I finally got to wear my flower fairy skirt out today to the NH sheep and Wool festival. We had a great time despite the weather, I even got to spin for one vendor who asked if it twirled and then wanted to see it in action!
Yarn is cotton from Hobbii, two cakes
Pattern was Lily Of The Valley skirt by Hannah Drapinski
It took me about 6 months to get my brain and fingers to understand chain plying! Pretty happy with it :) Merino from Divine Dye Works on Etsy, spun and plyed on my EEW6
