Corlys' sacrifices for Rhaenyra

Corlys lost his wife, his son, his brother, his wealth, his fleet, his legacy. All this for Rhaenyra while acknowledging her bastards as his heirs.

After Laenor's "death", he had no business with Rhaenyra yet he decided to stand by her side while losing everything and everyone in the process, only to get no gratefulness in return. It's good to see him finally showing some spine and standing up for his remaining sons.

Did she think serving the nobles rats and laughing at their faces will help her cause? On top of that, she'll impose heavy taxes on the nobles, while completely ignoring the fact that the nobles will instead collect heavier taxes from the smallfolk to pay the crown. Aegon IV knew about the prophecy of TPTWP, that's why he tried his best for the promised prince to be one of his offspring. Aegon accidentally legitimized all his bastards under the influence of milk of the poppy. Bloodraven and Bittersteel would be gay besties who are at war because of the "accident" and the main villain is Daeron II. Daeron separated Daemon (the Warrior himself) from his great love Daenerys and always bullied Daemon for being a bastard. Daemon believed he's the prince that was promised.

(Spoilers Main) Was Myriah Martell the heiress to Dorne?

Myriah Martell was the eldest child of the Prince of Dorne, and I assume she was the heiress before giving up her claim. She was betrothed to Daeron II when the chances of him becoming King weren't certain, so did she give up her claim as she got married or maybe after Viserys II became King?

I do not understand the idea of the eldest child of the Prince of Dorne marrying a minor Targaryen prince (which Daeron was at the time) and giving up her claim to Dorne.
