Help us pick: liveliest resort for a week in Punta Cana ?

My partner and I (late 20s) are booking a post-wedding trip to Punta Cana, Aug 31–Sep 7, and could use some input.

Here’s what matters to us :

1. Lively atmosphere : we just did a resort that was way too quiet. We want daytime activities, evening shows/dancing, and a popular resort where we won’t feel like the only ones there. Adults-only is a nice-to-have, not a must.

2. Beach : wide white sand, kept clean, enough palapas/shade, plus pools with swim-up bars.

3. Nicer/upscale : we bumped the budget for comfortable, well-kept rooms and facilities.

4. Food : good variety of à-la-carte + a solid buffet (if that exist).

Our shortlist right now:
• Barceló Bávaro Palace
• Impressive Premium Punta Cana
• Grand Palladium Punta Cana

If you’ve stayed at any of these recently, which would you pick for our priorities? and is the entertainment actually good in early September (low season)? Open to other suggestions we might’ve missed. Thanks!
