As far as I've seen, most people voted for Vijay to make him win in atleast 10-20 seats but after the results, it was overwhelming.

Well, I'm supporting DMK for the last 1 years and whenever I'm into debate, I'm getting bashed by this phrase: " All he did was in the very last year of the ruling period ". First of all, I'm convinced that atleast DMK has done this much instead of doing nothing like the former government, but what I'm asking is, is there any other reason than vote bank for bringing this much in last 2-3 years? Just asking for expanding my knowledge, I'm just new to politics.

Two years in Pondicherry, at first I hated the place for obvious reasons. Then I got adopted to it and liked it's calmness and friendly local people(some) who seem to be rude but is actually nice. But women safety... Still horrible. My cousin sister came along with my family. Yesterday we were told to dump trash in garbage bin outside of my street in ecr. While we were coming down the street, while we were walking through a dark spot, three guys were standing and were commenting/catcalling whatever it was. I didn't notice their faces/didn't even look at them. I tried not to get them into my ears. But I'm pretty sure they were targetting us. My mind went through wide series of thoughts and concluded to just walk away. Eventhough the street is half full of known members, i doubted that it will end well. I'm not sure if my sister heard any of it or knew that happened but I knew it. Considering her safety, i we proceeded to go to dump normally and we went home through a different street. I still was not normal after entering house. I as a man, was unable to do anything there. So I went to that place again by bike to atleast have a stare at them and let something happen if they react. But when I went there they were not there. I waited in the street for almost an hour and they didn't show up. Out of frustration I called my friend to get assurance that I did right at that situation. She convinced me but still, i am a guy who was unable to handle such a situation. Then I noticed three guys roaming around in bike like wannabe cools and drove straight into slum. One lesson I've learnt is to react at the exact place rather than regretting later that I didn't do anything there.

I know that these guys are all over Pondicherry thinking it is cool. I've been with such guys during tours and trips. They used to do like this when I hung out with them but I never participated. >!
