So I'm really annoyed by Venice now... They did nothing to improve the situation of Pro user. They are almost just a free trial but at 20$ a month...

For context, I'm on Venice since VCU where a thing. So a LONG time ago.

TLDR : Venice pro gives you only acces to 14% of the service. (all numbers have been rounded up)

Here are some numbers :

For text generation :

Venice Pro user can use 29 models "at no extra costs" (this include 8 free models) out of 116 avalible.

So that means that pro users can only use 25% of the models on venice without having to pay extras

For image generation :

Venice Pro user can use 6 models "at no extra costs" (this include 1 free models) out of 34 avalible.

That means that pro users can only use 18% of the models on venice without having to pay extras

For video generation :

Venice Pro user can use 0 models "at no extra costs" out of 87 avalible so 0% !!!

For agentic and mind chats :

Venice Pro user can use 1 models "at no extra costs" out of 11 avalible.

That means that pro users can only use 9% of the models on venice without having to pay extras

(About this one... A venice member said that they would add 1 extra model for pro user... but we are still waiting duh...)

As you can see, on Venice, you pay a premium to get only 14% of the service ! Yes only 14% !!!

That's not even mentionning the astronomic pricing of the API that melts like snow to the sun.

I'm tired of seeing this happening, that's why I sold my excess VVV (cause having more than 100 VVV never gave you anything more except peanuts of diems if you stack them)

And that's also why I'm not using Venice anymore. I don't believe in that project anymore, it went from a really nice project to a cash grab.

I wish the Venice team would have listened. It's not the first time I mention these things. But it's the first time I do the maths, and it was way worse than I thought.

Until Venice begin to respect their customers again, I'm done with them.

It's been months that E2EE TEE is unbearably slow...

On average for an empty context with just one prompt it takes 100-150 seconds to answer a few tokens...

Sometimes it even fails.

This isn't only on my account or device, every member of my family has the same issue, we don't live in the same house so it's not a connection issue either.

This is unacceptable for a paid service.

I've been trying to play some games on my Odin 3 with Eden, the games works flawlessly, but I'm unable to use a joycon properly.

I don't see gyro support and when I'm setting a joycon as my controller in Eden, buttons don't work, I have to remap them and the joycon isn't reacting at all and is impossible to map.

Also it's really annoying to change my controller in the settings of the emulator each time I want to change from my Odin built in controller to my joycons. Why don't they connect automatically in the emulator when they automatically connect with Bluetooth to my Odin ?

I know my joycons work since they are original one and they work perfectly on my Nintendo Switch Lite.

Honestly I'd need joycon support to play games like Arms, RingFit adventure and Just dance.

I'm on the latest stable Eden build, I also tried nightlys but same issues.

Does anyone knows how to fix that and use joycons properly ? Or is it just not implemented?

We still have no update of the source code.

No update to 2.0 on F-droid.

You should open-source like you've always promised.

Before announcing you'll add limits and tiers to users... (which break visionary user promised but still...)

Pro gives 100 Credit which are 1$ not 10$.

Unless this has changed but if it has, I'm still having only 100 Credits per months...

Tho it would be much appreciated and needed to upgrade thos 100 Credits in something usable. 1000 credits would be usable.

So I've either noticed a bug or an error in pricing.

I used the exact same model. deepseek 4 flash and ended up with WAY LESS usage on Venice.

Venice is charging 10x more for cached input according to thier pricings.

I've been using deepseek to test lower cost models and it worked well... since I have some Diems I wanted to use Venice then but looks like even there, my diems won't even last an hour...

Why is deepseek so expensive on Venice ? they are in anon so they probably use the same API as deepseek and at the same pricing. I understand they need to make a bit of profit but that's literally 21 TIMES the price for the same amount of tokens on the same model and probably the same provider... that's way more than a margin there...

And I'm pretty sure it's similar for other models but I haven't made a comparaison. I just know that API credits MELTS more than way too fast on venice compared to any other provider.
