Hello! So I recently taken a break from generating fanfic because I really am only into one kind of fanfic and I felt like I’ve exhausted all topics I wanted to read about. I’m back now to continue writing more but I’m struggling with which model to use, I’m not happy with the ones I typically use, glm takes way to long, grok and Kimi have been strange on my return and don’t hit as strongly, opus is fine but it’s not my fav and it’s expensive. Does anyone have any recs/ tips for me. I typically have a story bible I upload and in the prompt I go into more detail. Really just want to get into stories again and read decent fanfic.

It's starting to act like ChatGPT now and I'm about to cancel my subscription.. Same thing happened with Claude.

I'm on PC, free, guest, auto mode but it also does it on other models and on the app, though it didn't use to do this before this week. It's started to write like what i can only compare to a millenial using chatgpt trying to be joss whedon, while before it was totally fine, nice prose, fluid non-quirky dialog. What changed and how can I change it back? I already made a system prompt "do not use the word nerd" "do NOT say "doing the thing'". but I feel this is just addressing the symptoms. Any insights?

I've noticed that DeepSeek V4.1 Flash Uncensored is now available in Venice's Agentic Chat, but I can't seem to find it in the public API.

Does anyone know if Venice plans to make this uncensored variant available through the API in the future?

I'd love to integrate it into third-party clients and my own AI agent workflows.

Would be great to hear from the Venice team if there's any roadmap or ETA for API access.

i'm a free venice user and i've been using the agentic chat but i have to say i'm honestly really dissatisfied with whatever changes have occurred in the past day or so. i'm not sure if it's a new model or what but everything about it is so bad, it writes horribly with this really forced quirky tone, the thought process thing is all sassy and also it's so long, the responses are so much shorter and it also just straight up ignores parts of your prompts. not sure if anyone else has had this experience but i really miss whatever the old model was because this one is genuinely awful. there are some aspects of my prompts it gets completely right to an extent that the old ones didn't but for the most part it just doesn't seem to even be using the info i provided in its responses, which is very frustrating. anyone else having the same problem?

I pay $200 for a max subscription, I unsubscribe. After a few months my 15k remaining credits get taken. How is this your business practice? I paid for the credits and because I unsubscribed you just.. took the back? What the hell was that $200 for if not for the credits?

So I'm really annoyed by Venice now... They did nothing to improve the situation of Pro user. They are almost just a free trial but at 20$ a month...

For context, I'm on Venice since VCU where a thing. So a LONG time ago.

TLDR : Venice pro gives you only acces to 14% of the service. (all numbers have been rounded up)

Here are some numbers :

For text generation :

Venice Pro user can use 29 models "at no extra costs" (this include 8 free models) out of 116 avalible.

So that means that pro users can only use 25% of the models on venice without having to pay extras

For image generation :

Venice Pro user can use 6 models "at no extra costs" (this include 1 free models) out of 34 avalible.

That means that pro users can only use 18% of the models on venice without having to pay extras

For video generation :

Venice Pro user can use 0 models "at no extra costs" out of 87 avalible so 0% !!!

For agentic and mind chats :

Venice Pro user can use 1 models "at no extra costs" out of 11 avalible.

That means that pro users can only use 9% of the models on venice without having to pay extras

(About this one... A venice member said that they would add 1 extra model for pro user... but we are still waiting duh...)

As you can see, on Venice, you pay a premium to get only 14% of the service ! Yes only 14% !!!

That's not even mentionning the astronomic pricing of the API that melts like snow to the sun.

I'm tired of seeing this happening, that's why I sold my excess VVV (cause having more than 100 VVV never gave you anything more except peanuts of diems if you stack them)

And that's also why I'm not using Venice anymore. I don't believe in that project anymore, it went from a really nice project to a cash grab.

I wish the Venice team would have listened. It's not the first time I mention these things. But it's the first time I do the maths, and it was way worse than I thought.

Until Venice begin to respect their customers again, I'm done with them.

After testing all kinds of subjects and scenarios, the walls are extremely high on Abliterated, moreso than glm 5.3.

What makes it worse is that the prompt will absalutely refuse to go through at all, when you get a flag trigger it says "request failed please try again later" but if you instantly go with any other subject it allows it will go through just fine.

I've tested this in several different words, the word list so far is pretty damn long.

It will not think about the prompt, it will not give you a chance dance around the flag, it simple refuses it.

What a utter absalute fucking disappointment, its unsencored everywhere except the place that claims everything should be.

Aion is and now Abliterated is, even through they have the balls to say they aren't.

Grok 4.2 was a special llm, very creative and completely uncensored with no refusals. I see Venice has it. Unfortunately most discussion on grok is always about image/video. I just want to use it for creative writing.

Has anyone used it, esp those who used grok.com before, and how does it compare? is it the same model that will happily do any nsfw (nothing illegal, but not just vanilla) without refulals or needing jailbreaks? does venice have their own policy on top?

and finally, what do you need to use it? is it included in any plans or you use api?

You go through the trouble of filling these things out, making the chat remember what you want it to, filling out your profile to who you want to be, filling out the chat to act in certain ways, but after 1 or two chat sessions it just completely replaced it with random bits of anything it decides is "important" from age, to trust level talking style.

All insights will slowly and eventually be replaced with new insights, making the whole thing kinda worthless, I have to upload my persona, my writing rules, and check the insights for changes every session.

Is there a way you can just lock it down do Venice can read it but never touch or change it automatically?

What's the point of having a user profile if the chat can just decide what you are based on random nonsense?

So I've been in a roleplay with Aion for a long time and there for awhile it had me on an emotional rollercoaster. The drama was so intense that I had to take time to recover from it sometimes here in real life 😅. And I loved it. But nowadays when my party attacks the bad guy they take him down almost like the villain is just a toddler throwing a tantrum. We went from near party-wipes and dramatic resurrections to slap them on the wrist and go home. Am I the only one experiencing this here lately?
