Hey everyone! I’m setting up my coffee corner and I’m looking for a nice rubber tamping mat, as well as a separate rubber/silicone mat where I can keep my coffee accessories. I’d rather not have everything sitting directly on the countertop.
At the moment, I’m using a stone board for the accessories, but I’m not really happy with it. My current tamping mat is also a grey Smeg one, which doesn’t really fit the look I’m going for.
Can you recommend any good brands or specific mats?
I know IKAPE and Normcore are pretty popular. Are there any other brands worth checking out?
I’d love something minimal and premium-looking, preferably black. Thanks!

What do you think of this piece? I’ve been told that it might date from the 1950s or 1960s. I’d love to hear your thoughts on its style and possible age!

How often do you guys use the blind basket on your La Marzocco? I’ve only had my machine for two days, and I’m wondering if once a week would be fine, or if I should do it less often? ☕️☕️😉

Worth every penny. Such an awesome experience so far! The build quality, the workflow, the steam power… everything just feels amazing.
