Books/Info on Mao Bad

So I’ve been reading Fanshen by Thomas Hinton and it’s been a really great read and a pretty great primer on the Communist revolution in China from a grassroots standpoint.

Now I’m on a bit of a China kick and I am hoping to find some books or information on things like the Great Leap Forward or the Cultural Revolution in the post war period.

Hoping to find some historically grounded info that’s not “100billion dead because Mao was a serial killer!!!!” Vibes.

Anything I should check out?

Email from FOV

I got an email this morning from FOV asking for “essential guest details” and they’re asking for shipping information

I might have forgotten to include that in the flurry of buying tickets but if I did that’s a surprise to me. Anywho just wondering if other gizzheads have gotten similar emails because there is always a slim possibility this is a phishing attempt.

EDIT: It's just asking me to assign a name and email to a ticket on the official website. If anyone else sees this post and got one of these emails yer good! Thanks to the commenters for beings smart and nice, hell yeah king gizz!
