(48F4R)Sweden | Workouts, music, travel and trying not to meltdown over back surgery

I truly believe that sometimes random encounters can create great laughs or even friendships.

Living in Sweden. Early riser. Pretty serious about my need for daily workouts. Creative type. Switching from intense book reading to trash reality TV, then bouncing back to artsy movies.

I love electronic music, metal and classical music- throw in some indie and rock too. No kids. Completely unaware of gaming culture.

Usually happiest while travelling to new cities, just taking in the vibe, wandering around and taking photos.

Got a horrible sentence from my doctor today saying that I will have to get part of my lower back fused so apparently no high heels and no heavy lifting for 6 months. Feels like all the fun will be taken away from me and I probably need some support while figuring out how to mentally deal with this.

If you feel like DM’ing me, please don’t be lazy with “wazzup”. Give me something more. Your interests, your obsessions, your story. And please… I do not sell Onlyfans content and for the love of god spare me from yours.

Looking for training discussion partner with sports physiology background

Hi, I’m looking for an accountability partner / discussion partner.

I am 48F. I work out daily and I also struggle with disordered eating patterns, going from restriction to overeating. In a way I’m exhausted by restrictions, but I also don’t do well with a purely “body positive” mindset either.

I found out today that I will need a stiffening surgery on two discs in my lower back, and a 6-month lifting ban honestly feels like a death sentence.

I would really love to connect with someone who understands exercise physiology well, or who has worked through similar situations — what actually works, and how to stay consistent without making things worse.

Just trying to get out of this loop and build something more sustainable.

Struggling with overeating + overtraining cycle

Hi, looking for an accountability partner, maybe coach-ish support around workouts and food.

I am stuck in a circle of trying to outtrain bad eating habits. I grew up with the whole 90s slim ideal mindset and I think it still lives in my head. I work out daily and I am glad for my newfound love for weight training but I also struggle with disordered eating- going from restriction to overeating. I’m 48F and I guess I still want to eat the cake and keep it too (enjoy food but still fit into tight jeans). Add work stress and not the most harmonious relationship at home and I know I am very much an emotional eater.

I would really love to discuss weight lifting programs and nutrition that works without triggering stress. It’s easier talking to someone who genuinely understands this mindset and worked through the mental side of it alongside fitness.

Just trying to get out of this loop.

Quick question — I keep getting notifications for comments but when I click them they say “comment no longer exists.” Is this usually due to comments being removed by mods, filtered or are users deleting them quickly? Just trying to understand how it works here, thanks!
