On the 31st of October, Jane D Lynn went missing. There were no traces of her, no footprints, no notes, like she never existed. At least, that's what it seemed to the public. She in fact did leave a note, to her best friend in the whole world, Misanthropy "Opy" Moore. The letter wasn't long, nor was it emotional. It merely contained a neatly written sentence of 7 words.

"I am going to meet the Bogeyman."

And there were footprints. Well, not real footprints, breadcrumbs, but not actual breadcrumbs. Clues. Opy managed to pick open Jane's locker to find a letter with a wax seal that had been opened. Inside detailed instructions to travel to another dimension. The letter had a bunch of rules she didn't really care about, but what really stuck out was the end.

"Finally, The ritual must be performed on the 31st of October during the Black Moon. Not doing so will restrict all entry to the ☠︎♏︎❖︎♏︎❒︎♒︎♋︎●︎●︎□︎⬥︎⧫︎♓︎♎︎♏︎ Realm."

The black moon...the last black moon occurred the Halloween Jane went missing, which means Jane must've made it to this mysterious "Realm", which means...

Oh dear.

If Opy wants to find Jane, she needs to journey across another dimension.

This is going to be a horror, mixed media visual novel for the 8th annual Spooktober Visual Novel Jam. I was initially planning for me and my other teammate to do the voices, but we figured that we weren't versatile enough to bring the characters to life. If everything goes well after the jam (assuming we win something) Then the game will be put on Steam and Itchio for free

The Knights Commander Spends her Day off in the Dragons Belly : pretty comedic with some hard hitting moments now and then. The overworked Commander of the Knights finds her peace and solace inside the belly of a surprisingly calm dragon

Phantom Busters : Possibly the funniest manga I've ever read aside from Saiki K, and it's so hard to pick a favourite character bcuz they're all so LOVABLE. An honor student, upon starting highschool, ends up in a misfit group with a that can see ghosts, one that can talk to them, and one that eats them. Together, they form the Phantom Busters!

A Touch Within the Abyss : A BL, super cute it had me giggling and kicking my feet plus no smut but it does get a little suggestive. An assassin haunted by his past meets a boy who inadvertently became part of it, thboth of them try to confront their own feelings

Bride of Ignat : Also BL, same author as A Touch Within the Abyss, possibly some of the BEST fantasy clothing design I've seen in any manga, and just as cute as ATWTA. A boy who volunteers to be a sacrifice and become a dragons bride, leads him on a journey of healing with that very dragon

Ichi the Witch : A sick asf manga with the most badass women in the fantasy genre (yes I'm talking about my goat Desscaras). In a world where only women can weild magic, a boy inadvertently goes from mountain hunter to the first male witch

Bless : One of the prettiest artstyles I've ever seen, with some of the coolest characters I've seen! A tall, insecure girl who dreams of being a model and a popular aspiring makeup artist team up to take over the fashion industry

Make the Exorcist Fall in Love : quite religious in a way, but has some amazing character development. A boy raised as an exorcist in the Catholic Church who is destined to defeat Satan is tasked with protecting an artist who's being targeted by Satans minions. The twist? Said artist is a succubus who's tasked to make the exorcist fall in love with her

Stardust Family : Made me SOB UNCONTROLLABLY and then I mad emy friend read it and it made her sob too 10/10 manga right here 🥹. In a world where future parent shave to be evaluated on whether they are worthy of having a child or not, our protagonist, a young inspector, is assigned to inspect a family that seemingly doesn't want children
