Similar to Vonnegut’s seasons

In the “The People of Sparks” by Jeanne DuPrau they describe the seasons in a way that reminded me of Vonnegut.

“People of Sparks” seasons
- Shining
- Burning
- Browning
- Cooling
- Falling
- Chilling
- Winter

Vonnegut’s seasons
- Spring
- Summer
- Fall
- Locking
- Winter
- Unlocking

What food/drinks to buy otw out of Maine?

Leaving tomorrow and I’ve had plenty of seafood. Looking for recommendations of other local Maine foods to get on my way out. I’ll be passing through Augusta and Bangor.

Specifically any beer, kombucha, or cheeses that are not available in the Midwest. Open to any other suggestions as well!

ISO local food recs for East coast trip

Any local or regional foods you all would recommend? I’m excited to try some seafood of course. I also like fancy cheeses, kombucha, and craft beers. Looking for places that have quality food and are affordable.

We’ll be traveling from Providence to Boston, Portland, Acadia, and finally to Vermont.

Zoo is going cashless starting in June

Not a huge fan of places going cashless but it is nice to see the Zoo providing the kiosk they mention in the pic.
