Is raw milk legal/ sold regularly here? I live in chiaia

Location: ocean city Maryland
Tried to speed through a yellow light, missed it by a fraction of a second and got pulled over. When I got pulled over 2 other cars pulled up for a collective 5 cops at the scene. Cop explained I ran the light as all 4 other officers circle my suv aiming lights in it. Was told “why is there a jacket over that box like we don’t know it’s alcohol” and was asked to step out of the vehicle for a dui check. I passed because I was completely sober. While I was getting the check they searched my entire vehicle and got out the case of sealed, warm beer from the very back of my car that was covered with my jacket. I said my father had placed it there to transport to my mother as they live separately. Police continued to press accusations I was on my way to a party, when I was simply trying to go to Wawa and had forgotten it was still in my car. During the search they found a pair of clearly novelty brass knuckles my grandfather gave me 3 or 4 years ago (rainbow crap metal that is visibly unused and came from some redneck thrift store, probably won’t even fit my hand) that i completely forgot was in the vehicle.

Truthfully no intentional crime, I had no idea either was illegal as I always assumed the law was the alcohol was ok as long as it was completely sealed and out of reach of the driver.

No prior offenses at all, i am a volunteer firefighter and a lifeguard for the city. I am a deans list nursing student and do volunteer hours

I hired a local lawyer but he won’t comment on likely outcomes

Will I be ok? How likely is it I can get the charges fully dropped, I do not want this to interfere with my nursing employment
