So, I am a very visual learner and have always had trouble with lenses and where the final image lies.
However, I found this simulator (https://ophysics.com/l12.html) that helped me entirely understand the mechanics of lenses. It gives image distance as well as magnification with the inputs of object distance and focal distance. NOTE: It is default a convex lens but move the point named "Focus" to the right side of the lens to change to a concave lens.
I went from guessing on lens questions to conceptually understanding the path of light through a lens, making the world of difference. Hope this helps someone. They also have a mirror simulator (https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulations/geometric-optics)

What makes a person standout in my opinion from the flock is when you are actually doing the work that is being asked of you without any sway. Whatever career path you are taking, make sure that you actually comprehend what you are doing and give all you've got but not to the extend of exhausting yourself that you break down.

Some nights I feel like doing nothing and just enjoying without being on a pedestal but there are days I wished I was more productive. Any advice?

1. Be intentional - Make sure you spend your time wisely. If it means studying, then allot that time for studying.

2. Take Breaks - I, based on my experience would rather have personal breaks in between hour long studies for about five mintues ish to also grasp the info I have gotten.

3. Turn down phones - So whenever something notifies on your phone, you won't be tempted to open your phone and check your socials
