Zeiss S-Planar 1:2.8 f=60mm test shot with OMD EM-1 III

I am surprised by this lense. I expected it to be maybe on the same level as my modern lenses, but it's color rendering is beautiful. I kinda like it more than my olympus 30mm. Mainly bought it for scanning film.

Should I add an other e3v3 plus or a k1 Max? I often would benefit of of a second printer with a large build volume and can't decide.

Backup light problems

The Jeep’s reverse light is strangely broken. I have checked the following:

Tested the bulb -> ✅

Tested the voltage when reverse gear is engaged -> ❌️

Tested the resistance at the connector -> ✅

Tested the fuse -> ✅

Tested the negative terminal against the car’s ground -> ✅

Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes -> ✅

Scraped the positive terminal in the Boot and mesuerd to the plug-> ✅️

Measured the voltage at the boot cable positive to the latch of the trunk and got 6V ⁉️

What is going on.

Battery is not the problem.

Designed and build a scanning stand.

Decided that I need sth. better than a tripod and was shocked how expensive options from filmomat and negative supply are. So I build my own (that is probably better in some ways).

The core of it i an aluminum extrusion. A linear rail gives precision and a screw for the z axis positioning. I am also designing an automated film carrier right now, so the stand will also be motorized in the future to have preset lights for diffrent formats. There is no play in the system and it has no problem with the weight of my camera and lense (and the chunky manfrotto leveler). So overall I am really happy.

Ignore the ipad as a light and the missing film carrier it was just for a picture.
