I posted this ranking on Tiktok yesterday, and that post has over 10K views with 600+ likes and 50+ comments, and a whole slew of people saying I have the worst opinion of all time and some people agreeing with me, and respectfully disagreeing with me. So here I am, asking the least opinionated online platform (jk) about my takes on the finalists. this is my enjoyment having seen every show live in person at both nights of Allentown

After weeks of math and mind-numbing effort, I am finally finished with my spreadsheet of every caption award winner from 2001 onwards. I chose 2001 since that was when they started doing 3-night averages (if I'm not mistaken) and it was already long enough as it was doing 26 years.

The sheet has, for every year, 1st and their avg, 2nd and their avg, and the difference between the 2. Each column can be sorted to the viewing you wish, but I figured I'd post some fun results I found for each caption here. I did manually calculate the Visual Proficiency/Performance caption, so sorry if some results are wrong. Every other caption was done with the help of CorpsClash's 3-night average tool, that was a godsend, so thanks to them.

General Effect:

Most Wins: BD with 9

Closest Win: 2007, BD over Cadets by 0.066

Largest Win: 2014, BD over Cadets by 0.984

Visual:

Most Wins: BD with 13, counting the 2012 tie with Crown

Closest Win: BD/Crown tying in 2012, so 0.000

Largest Win: 2014, 2023, and 2010, BD over Cadets, BAC, and Cavies respectively, by 0.367

Color Guard:

Most Wins: BD with 12

Closest Win: 2018, BAC over Bluecoats by 0.016, the closest caption win ever

Largest Win: 2014, 2012, 2009, BD over Cadets, Crown, and Cadets respectively, by 0.400 (notably, all 3 of those years BD had a perfect 20 in guard at finals)

Brass:

Most Wins: Crown with 9

Closest Win: 2015, Cadets over BD by 0.033

Largest Win: 2013 Crown over BD by 0.367 (I'm sure everyone knows this was the perfect 20 by Crown at finals)

Percussion:

Most Wins: SCV with 7

Closest Win: 2024 SCV over BAC, and 2022 Bloo over BD, both by 0.017

Largest Win: 2012 BD over Bloo, Cadets, and SCV (yes a 3-way tie for 2nd) by 0.466

So Spirit decided to dip from the merch stand after their show yesterday, and I really was hoping to get one of their t-shirts since they ended up being my favorite show. If anybody has an XL or 2XL of their golden summer shirts, I will pay good money for it

My girlfriend just started 150 mg 3 days ago and has had pretty bad nausea/mild vertigo symptoms, are these common things and will they go away? I've also heard that making sure to eat with the med will also help
