Luigi’s Any% NoOOB, No Video, first attempt

Luigi’s Any% NoOOB, No Video, first attempt

Segments for Chansey Key, Bogmire Key, Boolossus Key, King Boos Crown

Major mistakes in Boolossus Key for missing 2 rooms for Star and needing to go back for the 20th Boo.

I didn’t do Map Glitch, Out of Bounds, Played on Switch2 GCN North America Emulator.

I kept attempting timesave strats and kept loosing time because of it. Buuut that comes with the practice. Just wanted to get some real splits in before the I get some true runs in.

First ever PAL Hidden play through

Final breakdown of my score. Had 6 non-bowser deaths, 3 were the Pipe Room. Bowser took me quite a few tries to realize how it worked differently.

Had a ton of fun. Will be playing again.

Original Game, VERSION MATTERS, I have been missing out, Refreshed Fun

I’ve owned and played the NA version of this game many times. I’ve completed an all gold frames, A rank, no resets before and really felt the only thing left to tackle was the max money play through. I had even suffered through the All Gold Frames on regular mansion.

LITTLE DID I KNOW, this whole time the PAL version (which I knew had the map flipped) had an actual difference in terms of ghosts and money.

I was expecting it to be a mediocre checkbox I did it, then booted up that hidden mansion and WOW was I in for a refreshing surprise. The PAL version changed sooo many rooms it’s been a blast playing.

I just defeated Boolossus and felt I should let others know: “If you’ve played the NA version and feel like hidden mansion was a letdown or you feel like playing again but don’t want the same old free win, try the PAL version. It’s been a blast playing!”

What did Milim say here? (S4E11)

Currently my guess is something along the lines of:
- I’m Sorry (directed towards the dragon)
- Farewell (directed towards the dragon)
- Thank you (directed towards Rimuru)

Attached is the first frame Milim starts speaking and the LN text that would include this scene.

Rimuru’s Sword Technique

At first Rimuru was learning the Hazy Lifestream Style that Hakurou and his master had passed down to many people.

Rimuru later copies Shizu’s sword Technique to imbue his sword with Fire after consuming Shizu & the Ifrit.

Rimuru learns to use the skills gained from Veldora’s naming and imbues his blade with Black Fire.

When he fights Hinata, Rimuru ‘sacrifices’ Beelzbub to copy the Meltslash technique.

I’m aware Rimuru converts the Meltslash skill into his own and improves it.

My question is what exactly did Rimuru learn from meltslash and how was that incorporated into his future techniques?

I’m aware Rimuru uses some technique to fight Yuuki (1st time) and Feldway (1st time) and not sure how it’s different from prior versions.

Great Sage’s Hidden Purpose

I’ve been rereading the LN’s recently and came up with a theory. Is it possible that Great Sage resonated with Satoru Mikami as the voice of the world recognized the similarities to his soul with Veldanava’s. To avoid a repeat of the (what I’ll call) Creator Class beings from giving away their power it wanted Satoru to have a companion who would be by his side forever.

I came to this conclusion after reading the LN15 segment regarding unique skills and revisiting LN1 where the skill was acquired.

Prior to gaining Great Sage Satoru states “… without ever losing my virginity. Like an old sage meditating in the mountains… the great sage of celibacy

This specifically refers to abstinence and Ciel takes this as part of her personality. Whenever Rimuru shows attraction towards another Ciel begins behaving as if she were his wife. Offended that Rimuru could have eyes for anyone other than her in a passive aggressive manner.

This both ensures the plot doesn’t devolve into a harem fantasy while also ensuring Rimuru’s survival unlike Veldanva. I’m interested to hear others thoughts on this.
