My biggest watercolor painting! 30x42cm
It’s not perfect but I decided to move forward to my next piece! I do really like the bumblebee!
Some real urban sketching! Made a tiny DIY palette that worked more or less. But with the sun shining down (29 Celsius) and a friend meeting us for lunch my watercolor sketch is missing a bit of depth and contrast in color!

What am I doing wrong? I’ve no clue how to troubleshoot this! The ink is Schminke aqua linodruck
It was I think more than 2 months ago since I picked up my gouache and this paper is A6 so tinier than I usually work on, so the beginning was a struggle but I felt such a victory when I finished it!

Every year close to my hometown in the Netherlands we have migratory flamingos and this was the first time I got to see them! It’s just a marvel! A bit tricky with my binoculars and sketchbook but so happy with the page!
