Something’s brewing… 👀 The G.O.A.T. is getting a new skin. 🐐

Been working on this custom mouse shell and I’m finally getting close to something I’m really happy with. 👀

The idea was simple: take the G.O.A.T. of mouse shapes and give it a modern, lightweight makeover. 🐐🔥

The goal is a clean, lightweight honeycomb design while keeping that iconic G303 character and shape intact.

I’ve been experimenting with the hole pattern, structure, and overall flow to get that balance between aggressive looks, weight reduction, and structural strength.

And honestly… seeing the internals peek through the shell like this is starting to look pretty damn good. 😮‍💨

Still a work in progress, but the design is finally starting to come together exactly how I imagined it.

The G.O.A.T. isn’t dead. It’s just getting lighter. 👀🐐

Need help lowering back hump on custom G303-style mouse shell

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some help with a custom mouse shell project. I tried to create a clone inspired by the Logitech G303 shape using another mouse as the base, but the back hump ended up being too high for my hand size. I have small hands, so the current shape is very uncomfortable and basically unusable for me right now.

I already have all the SolidWorks design files and measurements needed for the modification. The original work was done through an institute/workshop, but they are now refusing to make further adjustments unless I pay the full amount again, which I unfortunately cannot afford.

What I need help with is mainly lowering/reworking the back hump/profile to make the shape more comfortable. If anyone here has experience with mouse modding, 3D modeling, shell design, or printing and would be willing to guide me or help with the modification, I would really appreciate it.

I’m not very experienced with this kind of design work myself, so any help, suggestions, or collaboration would mean a lot.

Thank you!
