Hi, I’m looking for a 1-2 month stay and there aren’t many great options on Airbnb, I’m thinking of checking Facebook groups as most people recommend but for example looking at “Apartments for rent Da Nang” and there are like a million listings an hour, so idk if it’s legit. Is there a particular group or agency to recommend? Price range is $650 max for a 2-bed or $400 for a 1-bed
I spent a summer in HCM years ago and there were rats everywhere. I love Vietnam but have a huge phobia of rats and seeing huge ones run around all the time caused me a lot of anxiety. One time I was waiting for a Grab and felt one sneaking up behind me and I turned and screamed and it screamed back at me it was huge 😭 At least my friend was with me during that trip so I had someone to be scared together with.
I want to move to Da Nang alone for some time, is it as bad? Are there better cities for people with rat phobias?
Edit : Just to clarify, I wasn’t rly asking about the total rat population 😅 I know HCMC is much bigger. I meant more from a day-to-day perspective, do you actually see rats less often in Da Nang? That’s the part I’m trying to gauge as someone with a rat phobia.
