Happy "Parents" Day advice

With Mother's day just past and father's day upcoming, I need opinions. Do you wish the Non-Custodial or uninvolved parent "Happy (insert title) Day"?

My BD texted me happy mother's Day at 10pm, and I didn't text him last year and don't plan to this year.

Ok chefs, is it safe/healthy/hygienic to re use bay leaves? Pull them out of your soup/stock and put them back into the container to be used again? (Idk if this dude puts them straight back in or lets them dry first 😭). I feel like this isn't normal, but he's convinced it is.

Edit: to everyone who shared this, lmk what your friends/other communities say 😂 Also so everyone knows he's not a cook/chef, I met him at a potluck

Update: for anyone interested he just cancelled his in person visit that was scheduled for this month. He wants to try for September instead 🙃

How would y'all handle this?

The Non-Custodial parent wants weekly video calls, but then sits there in silence for the majority of the call (30-45min). It's absolutely painful. They make minimal effort to engage the 18mo old child, and it took several calls with me saying "if you have other things to do we'll go" to get them to not roll up (that issue needs its own post) or play video games during the call.

I try to be flexible and let them set the call day and time and I still get the bare minimum of effort, it's infuriating.
