Preparing for EMJM early
Hi everyone, I'm currently in my second year of my Bachelor's in Biochemical Engineering (I'll graduate in 2028 if everything goes according to plan). I know it's a bit early, but I want to start building a really competitive CV, since Erasmus Mundus is one of the Master's scholarships I'm aiming for.
Right now I'm looking at some programs like BioCEB, SBBE, S-DISCO, MemBioMed, EMABG, MESD, and BIOPHAM
I know internships, research experience, and similar activities are important, but I imagine most applicants have those. What are some things that can actually make an application stand out? Are there any experiences or achievements that admissions committees particularly value?
If anyone here has been accepted to one of these programs (or even applied), I'd love to hear what your profile looked like and what you think helped your application.
Also, I'll be going on an Erasmus exchange in Prague next spring. Since it's in a related field, I'm wondering how much that actually helps for Erasmus Mundus applications. Does having international academic experience make a noticeable difference, or is it just a nice bonus? Or do they not care at all
