I just interviewed an IIT Madras student for an intern role, and it was painful. HR handed me a resume stamped with the insti logo, but the candidate collapsed on simple fundamentals. Asked the difference between mean and median? Blank stare. Overfitting? He rambled about neural networks. The CV was a wall of buzzwords like PyTorch, GenAI, Cloud with zero foundational math underneath.

As an alumnus, I am ashamed seeing such utter nonsense from students of IIT Madras.

Here is a petition to ban Paradox, I don't know if this would change anything, but we need numbers to show it is a common issue.
