I love watching spinys grow up in diffrent colors

Such a cool species

Do you guys think its fine to expose them to light to encourage them to move from the test tube?

This is my messor barbarus colony ive had since September, it started with 3 ants and now has a lot more but they still are in the tube instead of the nest i gave them. Is it okay if i expose them to light? (The tube is covered with aluminum foil so its dark all the time in there) Or is it to stressing or harmful to them?
