My first sunflowers ☺️

I was out of town and came home at dusk to my first sunflowers being open!! The last three pictures are at dawn. They are the strawberry blonde and procut lemon lite varieties.

Wildlife in garden

First year growing cut flowers and this morning a bee was chilling on my zinnia. So fun to see it hanging out

Give me tips on my loaf!

This is probably my 5th or 6th loaf. It tastes delicious and is so soft and fluffy and for the first time it wasn’t difficult to cut through. But I am open to feedback if anyone has suggestions or if it looks like I over or underproofed.

I followed the recipe from artisan sourdough made simple. 50g of starter, 350g water, 500g flour, 9g of salt. I combined everything and let it rest for 30 minutes, then did stretch and folds and bulk rose for 8 hours. When I shaped it I did a tri fold and kind of rolled it together which helped shape it into a ball well. I baked it at 450° for an hour (20min covered, 30 uncovered, 10 on the rack). I may have cut into it too early because I was too excited!
