When do you call it quits?

TW: Miscarriage.

I’m in my overall total 7th Letrzole and Ovidrel cycle. 6 cycles where I ovulated. 5 cycles with a trigger shot. Multiple mature follicles each cycle. My second Letrozole cycle where I ovulated I got pregnant but ended up having a rare intrauterine pregnancy called an angular pregnancy where it implanted in a weird spot in my uterus and didn’t have the blood flow to develop so I had a D&C on February 20th of this year.

I’ve done 4 cycle since then and this cycle I was super hopeful because I had 4 mature follicles when I triggered but today I’m 12DPO and I still have a negative pregnancy test. I’m tired. I’m worn out. I know life isn’t fair but god damn I’ve been through enough in my life, that this just sucks.

When do you decide to give up and accept you will probably never have children? We could do IUI but I really don’t think that’ll increase our odds very much. And we can’t afford IVF as our insurance doesn’t cover it.

I’m 30, he’s 34. My HSG last October was clear, my husband’s SA is great. I’m just so over it all. All of my friends and family that started trying after us are already pregnant and due AFTER I was supposed to be due with my first pregnancy, which is literally next month. I was desperately hoping I’d be pregnant again by then but this was the last shot at that hope.

Low PDG

I feel like my PDG is pretty low for being 9DPO. Is this normal or should it be higher? Obviously hoping for pregnancy this cycle but the lower PDG isn’t making me very hopeful.

Fluctuating PDG

Hi everyone. This cycle has just been weird for me so I’m wondering if these fluctuations in my PDG are concerning? I know PDG releases in pulses but it still kind of seems all over and I haven’t had a cycle like this before.

In the past I’ve always used Letrozole and a trigger shot and my PDG would get to 49 usually at some point. This cycle I just used Letrozole and naturally ovulated.

Any insight or someone with a similar situation still end up pregnant?

Need some input! Ovulation?

Hey all! I posted here last week after being told during my CD15 follicle scan check that the 2.3cm “mature follicle” that they saw on my scan was probably a simple cyst. They came to this conclusion because I did have a cyst like structure at my CD3 scan AND they test my blood estradiol levels on CD15, which was only at 101. CD4 I started 7.5mg of Letrozole for 10 days.

So because of my previous cyst and my lower estradiol levels my doctor didn’t want me to waste a trigger shot that night and just wanted me to track with OPKs the rest of the week. Well, I also track with Inito and Natural Cycles, so I have a bit more info…

My scan and blood test were around 8AM. Around noon I took my first Inito of the day, which is the giant spike in EG3 you see. And I think I also had a positive, or SUPER close to positive OPK at the same time but I’m not 100% certain.

Do y’all think I actually did ovulate and the 2.3cm structure they saw on my scan was actually a mature follicle that released on its own and not a cyst despite my lower estradiol number?? I know yall aren’t doctors but I feel like my Inito chart looks promising for ovulation but I’ve only ever tracked with Inito when using a trigger shot, so I’m wondering if that’s why it looks different than my past cycles… I’ve never had an EG3 number that high and my LH didn’t spike very high this time.

First photo is this cycle, second photo is a couple cycles ago that were the result of Letrozole and Ovidrel.

Strange Cycle

Hi everyone. Just posting here to see if anyone has experienced something similar.

I have PCOS, and took 7.5mg of Letrozole starting on CD4 and I took it for 10 days. Last cycle I had 3 mature follicles on the same regimen.

This cycle on CD3 I had my baseline follicle scan and it showed a 1.6cm simple cyst on my left ovary. My doctor said that was fine and we proceeding with the Letrozole plan. CD15 comes around and I have my mid cycle scan and all it shows is a 2.3cm “follicle” on my left ovary. My doctor had my estradiol checked to see if that would help determine what it was but it came back at only 101 so she assumed it was still the cyst from earlier and not a true follicle.

So, since it was still the cyst she didn’t want me triggering this cycle with Ovidrel and to just track with ovulation strips and see what happens. Assuming it’s just the cyst I’d start provera in a few weeks to start my next cycle and hopefully my cyst will be gone by then.

But, my Inito device confirmed ovulation this morning… and it doesn’t make any sense. Is it just my body messing with the device? My natural cycles app also confirmed ovulation this morning but both decided on different days. And both days didn’t make sense because of my scan being where it was on CD 15, which was this past Monday.

Anyway, anyone have anything similar like this happen? My chart also looks WAY different than it has in the past so I think it’s just my body playing games with Inito and Natural Cycles. Adding my current chart for some visuals.

Disappointment is such a time sucker

TW: D&C after miscarriage

On July 4th was my final dose of 7.5mg Letrozole for 10 days, starting on CD4. Had a scan this morning, CD15 and it showed a 2.3cm “follicle”. BUT I had a 1.6cm cyst on CD3 at my last follicle scan. My doctor thinks this is just the cyst and I have zero other mature follicles this cycles. Usually I at least get 2 mature follicles and we can trigger shot, so I am so disappointed with this cycle. I track with Inito even though it isn’t the most accurate because of the meds I take but this weeks Inito results are wild, especially because of the EG3 jump today (over 449ng/ml). But apparently my cyst is just producing hormones? My blood draw estradiol was only 101, which is why my doctor thinks it’s still just my cyst, and I believe her about that. I’m just so frustrated with the whole thing. So now this cycle is scrapped.

She wants me to track with OPKs this week and if I don’t get a positive, basically we will have to jumpstart another cycle with Provera and try all the hell over again because I don’t start a cycle naturally without ovulation.

I had a D&C in February after getting pregnant at the end of December. It was my first ever pregnancy and my second suscessfully ovulating round of Letrozole. This was my third cycle since then and I am just SO disappointed. I guess I’m just looking for someone who’s been through something similar to mine or honestly any support in general.

This is tiring.

I’m so frustrated. I thought this was maybe going to be our month because I had three mature follicles at my mid cycle scan. I was told to take my trigger shot at Noon on Friday the 5th, have sex Friday night, Saturday night, and Monday night. Well, Friday was successful but Saturday night was too much pressure for my husband even though I tried everything to lighten the mood. I’m so sad that we are probably out this cycle because I feel like Saturday was the most important. I know that sperm can live for up to “5 days” but I believe that’s for a small percentage of people. I feel like Friday was too early because I probably didn’t ovulate until Saturday night or Sunday morning 😭 has anyone had success with a similar schedule? I’m so tired of these times intercourse cycles but I want to start a family so bad.

I was just super hopefully this cycle with the looks of my follicles but now I’m so down because of last night.

Here we go again…

TW: miscarriage mentioned

In the midst of my 5th Letrozole, trigger shot, and timed intercourse cycle. Technically the 4th cycle that I’ve ovulated on, the first dosage wasn’t high enough. I’ve been on 7.5mg for the past 4 cycles. First successful ovulation was October 2025, then December 2025 and I got pregnant! Unfortunately miscarried and in February I had a D&C. We did our first cycle since then in April/May, nailed our timed intercourse exactly how our doctor wanted it, but it unfortunately failed, and now onto our second cycle since we lost our baby.

I’m trying to stay hopeful. I had my mid cycle scan today to check on the success of my Letrozole cycle and I have two 2.0 follicles and one 1.8cm all on my left ovary. I did a trigger shot this afternoon and we will start our timed intercourse schedule tonight! I am praying and crossing fingers that this will be OUR cycle to conceive. I’ve never had three follicles at once, usually just two.

Anyways, I guess I’m just looking for success stories and any good words/vibes people can contribute!

How to deal with the stress and anxiety of TTC w/ PCOS

Hi everyone-

TW: Miscarriage

(Sorry for the novel)

I know I mention medicated cycles but mostly looking for success stories and advice on how to deal with the anxiety of it all. I hope this fits within the rules!

I’m currently in my second cycle of TTC since my first pregnancy, miscarriage and D&C in February. I conceived our first baby with Letrozole and Ovidrel. found out I was pregnant around January 8th but the baby ended up implanting in the upper right of my uterus, intrauterine but in a very bad location for growth. They deemed it an “angular pregnancy”, which is super uncommon, at least almost unheard of by some of the OBGYNs at the hospital I go to. Baby ended up not growing unfortunately and so I ended up having a D&C.

I’m in the midst of my second Letrozole round since then and I’m just so freaking nervous and have so much anxiety. I have PCOS (or now PMOS) and was diagnosed in 2017 because of not ovulating/having cycles and other symptoms.

Since getting diagnosed, the ability (or inability) to conceive has been on my mind. Before starting medicated cycles I needed to lose about 50lbs, which I did and it took about a year. So last June my husband and I were able to finally start cycles.

We want this so bad (of course like others). But how do you deal with the amount of anxiety that comes with the unknown on if you’ll ever actually conceive again, or if it’ll even end up being a healthy pregnancy. I already have anxiety but this on top of the regular anxiety I have has been hard on me. And I know it’s hard on my husband too, trying to be the positive one and uplifting while I’m just a Debby downer because I can’t help it.

Anyways, looking for any input/stories/things that helped you get through this difficult time.

I think I need a tracking break

TW: miscarriage

This was our first cycle since I got pregnant on Christmas this past year but miscarried and had a D&C on Feb 20. I was so hopeful this cycle and everything was looking great but my hormones dropped and I also had a negative FRER this morning 😭 it was a medicated cycle because I don’t naturally ovulate so Letrozole and an Ovidrel trigger shot were both used.

I thought this was going to be our month 😔 my BBT is still high so I’m a little confused by that but I wonder if I’m getting sick? I feel relatively fine though so it’s strange…

I’m not sure I’m up for tracking next cycle. I was just a ball of nerves this entire cycle, although I’m not sure not tracking would make that big of a difference mentally tbh.

Losing hope.

TW: miscarriage

I tested negative this morning. This is my first cycle since my D&C for my miscarriage on Feb 20th. I took an early response test this morning and still absolutely nothing. I didn’t test this long with the cycle I conceived so I don’t really have any past data to compare this too. Ugh. This TWW is actually hell on earth.

I’m about 10/11dpo. I took an Ovidrel trigger shot at 1AM on CD15 so should have ovulated 24-48 hours after that.

Any insight or words of encouragement are welcome!

Low Estrogen?

Hi all. This is my first cycle since my miscarriage in February of this year. I didn’t test after ovulation that cycle because honestly I didn’t think we were successful so I didn’t want to waste strips. I’ve been testing after ovulation this time and my estrogen seems low, but my progesterone is high. Do I have any chance with estrogen this low?

I was on Letrozole for a week from cycle day 3 and an Ovidrel trigger shot on CD15 if that matters.
