I am working on a classic 6 and when I went to reconnect the ribbon for the aux it went flying. Does anyone have a solution other than buying a whole new motherboard? As of now it plays when the chord is placed certain ways but if you move the positioning it stops

This question I am sure comes up over a thousand times but I figured I would ask to get some more insight. I am in the process of upgrading my HHD to SSD and my battery, I have a pretty moderate (2-3k) library but all in ALAC is it worth booting to RB if I plan to expand my library to avoid storage issues? Or is this still on the safe side. I am under the impression that the actual storage issues come from the song count rather than the storage usage.
I am currently having an issue with my BFs xteink x4, for some reason it won’t go past the home screen, I have tried resetting from here with no luck. I do see a screen issue but he has had it for 2-3 weeks with no issue until recently so I don’t think he received a faulty one.
Hey everyone, I recently acquired a classic gen 6 and it was in good condition but I noticed that when I am listening to music that it will either lag or jump around, I am assuming this is an issue with the HHD but I just want to see if anyone had this issue and or how they resolved it before I bought an iflash.
