Should I pull the engine first or just scrap the whole car?
I have a 2013 Ford fusion with a 1.6 Ecoboost in it. A tree fell on the car and basically totalled the car but the engine and transmission are fine. Would it be worth pulling the engine out to use in a project (go kart/dune buggy, something Ariel atomish) or should I just scrap the whole thing and not worry about it?
I know the car is pretty quick for being so heavy and I am fairly technically minded, but I don't know if the hassle is worth it or if I should buy an easier engine to work with and cut my losses on the Ford.
