I want to adopt a Bengal. Tell me everything I need to know!

Hey guys! My family and I are planning to adopt a cat soon, and we would love to adopt a Bengal. To start, I would like to add that we're first-time owners. My grandmother and my mom grew up in Jamaica with little experience with cats, and I volunteer for a cat rescue every Friday. So, I have the most experience with cats in my family.

I understand that Bengals are high-energy and intelligent. We were actually planning on adopting a dog, specifically a poodle, before settling on a cat. Poodles are also high-energy and intelligent, so I always planned to spend time making sure my animal is not only physically satisfied, but mentally satisfied as well!

I am also aware that they are vocal and affectionate. I think if I was a cat, I'd be a Bengal. My mom will have to deal with a cat version of me LOL.

Two more things:

- We live in an apartment.

- The cat rescue I volunteer with has plenty of Bengals available for adoption, so we will not be going to a breeder.

I just want to know if I'm up for the challenge of a Bengal or if we should settle on another breed of cat.

Edit: I do not appreciate the amount of downvotes I am getting. I have come here to learn and make a decision that will be best for me and my future cat.

Has anyone gotten LHR during a flare-up?

I'm having one of the worst flare-ups in my life, and I am SOOOO ready to get laser hair removal, but I was just wondering if it's a good idea to get it while I'm having a flare-up, or should I wait?

Also, I heard that the boils and bumps go down after LHR. Is that true?

Anyone else not relate to their sign?

I don't mean this in the way that those people who like astrology and only know their sun sign mean it. Like, I actually struggle to relate to my sign.

I'm a Virgo sun, Aries rising and Pisces moon. I am also a Virgo Mars, Mercury, and Venus, but I always struggle to relate to anything about Virgos. My bestie, who is much more into astrology, says that I'm very Virgo, but I can't see it. I honestly relate to my Aries rising and Pisces moon more.

Is there an explanation for that?

Saw a Common Snapping Turtle on my walk today!

Please, ignore the shaking lol! I was extra zoomed in. But yeah, I was on a walk and I live near a huge conservation area + some trails, so I usually chill by any of the lakes I find and I was about to leave when I saw this huge thing in the water. Took a video of it and went home to search it up, turns out it's a Common Snapping Turtle. Did not know that they even existed in my area. I'm so happy!
