Trying to make a new RP server, info bellow (it's a long post but please bare with me)
So I used to have a server about a world called "Seadai," it was with a few close friends that I no longer speak to sadly, and since my current friend group's rp server is kinda inconsistent with availability, I wanted to give this a try.
QUICK SERVER INFO:
My only real restriction is no NSFW things please, you can have ships and do romance but please don't show the more explicit things. If there is anything more I can think of I'll add it, but that's it for now. Strong language and violence are allowed, just be sensible is all I ask.
INFO ON SEADAI:
The world itself is essentially just Earth but under a new name and with different nations, the main setting is the nation of Astanna, the only other nations I had were called Sarvanna and Veykrim (open to ideas if you have any). Think of it like a semi-super hero world, magic and super powers exist, there are people who can choose to be heroes or villains, but there are no costumes or anything like that (unless your character chooses to have one of course).
I didn't have this in the first version, but playing off of my other group's server, the heroes are known publicly as "World Champions," (may change the name, or not, still working it out), not every main character is gonna be a Champion but it's the most prestigious title a hero can have.
MY RP STYLE AND ROLE IN THE STORY:
So my main role in the server's story is going to mostly be relegated to villains, it's my favorite type of character to play, and so I will have the server's main antagonist: The Baron.
The Baron is the robotic super-genius hellbent on controlling the world, he commands a massive robot army, and is a threat to the world as a whole, but at the beginning his biggest target will be Astanna. It's the largest nation, it's defined by its freedom and prosperity, he knows it will be the best choice of a first target.
Other than that, I can play hero characters if need be, I have plenty, I just have the most fun on the villain's side.
If your worried about profile pictures, I'd say don't worry about it too much, I have one or two that a friend of mine drew for me, but the rest I mostly found off Pinterest, just obviously don't pass it off as your own if you didn't make it yourself, my stigma is that so long as we keep it to the server and don't go publicly stating we made things we didn't, it's fine.
Also the server uses Tupperbox, so you need just a general understanding of how to use that.
WHAT I'D LIKE FROM PEOPLE JOINING:
So I can't manage a massive group of people, which means I can only let small groups in, I don't have a set number, just enough that I can get a variety of people. My dream is that I can maybe get another friend group from this, so I can get to know every member. My biggest thing (other than what I said at the beginning) is that you just have to be available somewhat consistently. If you can't be on 24/7 that's totally fine, I just don't want months of silence is all.
As for how I will be deciding who I want to add, my best advice would be for you to tell me your RP style, and probably some info about a few OCs you have, and I can look them over and see what I think, and I can DM you an invite if I like it.
