Thinking about getting into contract broiler farming in Telangana, anyone here doing it?

Hey folks.

I’m looking at getting into contract broiler farming, and I could use some real talk from people actually doing this. I get the basic model, integrator gives chicks, feed, and medicine, I build the shed and raise the birds, they come pick up and pay per kilo. Sounds simple until you actually think about it, then suddenly you have twenty questions, like me right now.

Quick ones I’m stuck on. Should I buy the land first or talk to integrators before locking that in? How many birds can I realistically fit on one acre? Semi E.C. shed or go full E.C. and just cry about the budget later? Anyone actually get a bank loan for this, or did you self-fund and pray?

And the one that keeps me up at night, how do you actually check the chicks and feed they hand you are good quality, or is it basically a trust fall with your bank account? Would love to hear from anyone who has survived a full cycle or two, war stories welcome.
