One of the most embarrassing moments I've had as a nursing student 😂

During clinical duty, we were taking a patient's vital signs and needed to ask the usual questions before taking her BP.

We asked her if she had any implants.

She looked at us and basically said, “I'm already old and menopausal.” 😭

There was a moment of complete silence.

Meanwhile, the two of us were fighting for our lives trying not to laugh while continuing to take her vital signs like absolutely professional healthcare workers. 😂

We waited until we were done before finally losing it.

Nursing students, what's the most awkward misunderstanding you've had with a patient? 😭
