Is there a way to have co-op difficulty in single player?

So I've been looking for a way to increase the general difficulty after playing this game waay too much but...OutHard seems cool but changes the game too much for my liking, and the challenge runs feel too restricting and take away most of the fun of trying new things from the game...so I've been looking for a simpler mod that just makes it so the enemies have all the modifiers of playing co-op but while playing by yourself...does anyone know if something like that exists? Closest thing I could find was an old mod that got those features abandoned and can't seem to find it now.

Actually using Pressure Plates for once and...hot damn

Finally investing into Pressure Plates Expertise and properly using traps in my Trog playthrough and am constantly surprised by how broken these are...2 ethereal traps to leave the golem miniboss at 6 HP? Whew

I'm really digging my current build tbh, Ethereal Traps with 0.1 weight Ghost's Eyes that are pretty common loot, inflict Haunted and then you can finish things off with the Dreamer Halberd or an Ethereal Imbue. If you feel confident you can use the Mana Trog armor for a whooping 50% Eth dmg bonus. Good stuff.

I'm regretting not taking the 7 barrier breakthrough though, any non-decay elemental attack wrecks that healthbar...

What is the best weapon/build for a VR player?

So I've been playing around with the extremely underrated VR mod for while and it's very cool so play it in such a fresh way. The vistas are amazing, the big mobs/bosses look imposing as hell, and the dark dungeons are much more menacing to explore. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a VR Headset and a decent enough rig to have a go at it!

My question though, is for anyone else who has already tried it (or is knowledgeable about the game and wants to chime in, too). I can't really decide which weapons are the best in this mod. The controls are clunky, dodging is really unreliable so you basically just have to sidestep/block most attacks and your attack speed isn't really tied to your animations but you can't take advantage of that most of the time because the attacking motions are so unreliable that I have to basically swing my whole arm to attack every time lol.

My top picks so far are shield and mace bc I will be blocking most attacks instead of dodging and the clunkyness of moving around without the lock-on enemies means you rarely can get consecutive hits, so a hard hitter works best. Or halberds, which are the most lenient with how much you have to swing in order to register as an attack. Plus being great against groups as you can't see sh*t behind you while fighting. Maybe totems would be cool with this playstyle, but I haven't been to Caldera yet.

So, what would you guys recommend?

Is there any mod that makes houses actually useful/a must have in a playthrough?

Don't get me wrong, I like that it's even an option in the first place, but I can't help but feel that it was honestly a bit of a miss in the base game...

Being able to buy houses is neat but at the end of the day it's purely cosmetic because the Stash isn't even exclusive to them and the xp boost is pretty inconsequential with how long it lasts (not much). Maybe a mod to remove the stashes from the world would make them a must buy? (Except the ones on the inn, but only accessible unless you pay the night ofc). Just throwing this out there. Could add a nice challenge in a hardcore run and sense of accomplishment and belonging once you're able to get your own base.
