There is a road near our office which is fully covered with tree shade. Since it’s rainy season and today it wasn’t raining but was cloudy, the weather was really pleasant to walk around. One end of this road has our office entrance, so it’s usually very less crowded. On the other end there is another office entrance and just in front of it there is a food court, so that side is usually crowded.

Going for a post lunch walk with friends is kind of our daily office ritual. So today me and my friend went for a walk.

While we were walking, two girls from the other office came from the opposite side. I had eye contact with one of them for a second. She was really cute and she was wearing a short kurti which made her look even more cute.

Anyway, they also started walking on the same road and when they reached the quiet end, they stopped there and were standing.

Now this is the part I’m not sure about, so maybe I’m just overthinking this.

When we were about to cross them, I felt like she was trying to come and talk to us, or maybe she was giving some hint for us to go and talk to her. I genuinely don’t know if that was actually happening or if I just interpreted it that way because I found her cute.

But me and my friend, we are both introverts, so obviously we did absolutely nothing and just continued walking. 😭

The interesting part is that they waited there until we completed another round.

Then when we were almost about to reach them again, two groups came out from our office. Maybe they felt uncomfortable because suddenly there were more people around, I don't know, but they started walking towards their office.

And they were walking REALLY slowly.

By the time they reached the gate of their office, we had crossed paths two times because they were walking that slowly.

Then they went inside their office.

And when I was leaving, I kind of peeked inside and she turned back at the same time.

Eye contact again.

Now I’m genuinely confused 😂

Did I just mess up my chance because I was too scared to go and talk?

If I see her again tomorrow, should I actually go and talk to her?

Or am I just procrastinating and creating a whole situation in my head from two eye contacts and a girl standing on a road? 😭

What do you guys think? Was she actually giving some hint, or am I reading way too much into it?

TLDR: Saw a cute girl from another office during my post-lunch walk. I felt like she might’ve been hinting for us to talk, but me and my introvert friend did nothing. 😭 We had eye contact again later, so now I’m wondering—did I miss my chance, and should I talk to her tomorrow?

"Pata hai aaj kya hua"

Went to a pub yesterday with my friends.

There was this girl dancing with her group and I thought she was cute. We were dancing on the same floor for a while and one of my friends kept telling me to just go talk to her instead of overthinking.

After some time she stepped away from her friends for a bit, so I went up to her and said, "You dance really well," and asked if I could get her Instagram.

She just said, "No."

I said okay and came back. Didn't want to make it awkward or bother her any further.

Later we were sitting at our table waiting for food. I noticed her group looking in our direction a couple of times and laughing. Maybe it was about us, maybe it wasn't, I genuinely don't know.

Then when they were leaving, they walked right past our table. She crossed first and right when she was passing me, one of her friends loudly called out her name. That part felt kind of intentional, but again, I could just be overthinking it.

I'm not upset about getting rejected or anything. I shot my shot, got a no, and that's completely fine.

I'm just curious about the whole thing afterwards.
