CCGA incoming cadets bedding/mattress size question

Hi guys, I am trying to bring my own bedding to the academy. I just wanna double check the sizes before I click the purchase button. Is it the regular 38 inches wide by 75 inches long (approx. 96.5 cm by 190.5 cm) twin bed? I feel it's a bit awkward to ask here, but it's a Friday and the administration at the academy is off for the weekend XD so thank you for your help!

Also, I am an incoming engineering cadet, looking forward to knowing more cadets from my year or senior cadets. If you wanna DM me, feel free!

Question: why my 5000 French words does not show up on Anki iPad app?

I downloaded the file from Anki website. it says it supposed to have 4000+ words on it.

but once I open it up on Anki, It only shows the beginning part, and only have 160 words.

What is happening here?

I sm pretty sure when the iPad imported everything I downloaded.

Tough decision on top surgery or job offer?

Hi all,

UPdates: Thank you so much for all the kind words, and experience from other public servants. It gave me much more courage and hope for sure. I called my family and the doctor office. They are supportive and I rescheduled my surgery to July 27th. Hopefully I can get my exams done by then. I will also contact my employer for extra time of recovery if things rolling well!

Thanks all!

Orignal:

my first time on this subreddit, I am facing a tough decision on whether to do my top surgery or taking a job offer.

Same as everyone else, I waited for 2-3 years to get my top surgery. and it is finally my turn at the end of June.

However I received a job offer, as an officer which has a great pay, great benefits, great everything. But requires me to complete two medical examinations before August 1st. It is my dream job. and I worked really hard on getting this offer, and pass interviews. It is something I can work till I am retired..

If I go ahead with the job offer, I won’t be able to do the top surgery probably for another 5 years, because the specific requirements of “always fit “ and meet medical exams requirements.

I am 32 now, I pass as a guy and have bunch of cis male friends who doesn’t even know I am trans.

but if I don’t do the surgery now, I will probably only have chance to do it when I am 37-38ish.

I was dreaming about wearing cute transparent shirt and be able to swim 😞

I kinda know I should taking the job offer because of the economy. but I need some wise encouragement. thank you.

Hi, does anyone have experience with projectors available in Canada that can run Crunchyroll app?

I’m currently using an Eazze series projector from Amazon, and overall it works fine for basic use, but it doesn’t have native support for Crunchyroll, which is what I mainly want to watch on it.

I’m wondering if there are any budget-friendly or mid-range projectors that come with better app support.

Any recommendations or personal experiences would be really appreciated.

ps. screenshare and adapt device from phone is not in my consideration.
