The pregame show really made me laugh. They really tried to play a lot of country, even had a cringe line dancing squad. No one responded. It's like, know your audience 🤣🤣

I keep seeing this thing on my feeds. Is it worth the hype? Is it game-legal for ASA/USA?

Need some mentality advice from any old heads here. Feeling really discouraged with rec league. Played some little league and a little high school ball, always as a left or center fielder. Never a crazy power hitter since I'm not a huge dude.

Fast forward to now. Mid thirties, playing rec ball after a 20 year hiatus. Still have some wheels. Manager continually puts me in right field even after asking to rotate. I hate RF because I get the opportunity for one, maybe too defensive plays a game. One is usually lefty batter, one is fucked up timing and usually a rough out.

At bat is rough too. Do fairly well at BP, but seem to groundout constantly in games. Now have a couple of seasons under my belt and have yet to get more than a single. Double is my goal, but it's a little humiliating seeing my teammates crush the ball and I'm a contact hitter at best. Probably shit swing mechanics.

How do I stay motivated and not quit? Enjoy it when it goes well, but hard on myself during poor individual games.

I used to be able to catch most games I wanted on ESPN. Now, I have to pay for an MLB TV subscription. A lot of the games are blacked out, and if they're not, they're on some random streaming service. I've had to watch games on Peacock, Hulu, Netflix, and Apple TV. I had to buy an antenna to watch the postseason. It's like it's all a racket to capitalize on your random and force lasting subscriptions. Extremely frustrating.
