Have seen a bunch of pics from influencers and other menswear adjacent guys wearing super long belts, such that a long strand is left hanging. Don't want to yuck someone elese yum and call me old-fashioned, but I'm not a fan. Like, if you want the edge of your belt to shine, a western belt is a more aesthetically pleasing choice. Thoughts?
I've recently been finding alot of J.Crew, J Crewn Factory, and Madewell products at my local Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Mostly it's one off things or things that did not sell well (denim chino shorts or pink chinos). Has anyone else been seeing this?
I think Sebago makes solid loafers. (They also make boat shoes, but I have no experience with them). In lists I've seen of good loafer brands or "these are shoes to buy this summer," at similar price points, brands like GH Bass, Rancourt, Quoddy, Meermin, and even Sperry get all the love. Why do you think this is?
Here is Rowing Blazers' Summer 2026 collection. After years of struggling, I think they finally released a decent collection. They stopped leaning so hard into irony and seem to have adopted a more traditional prep with some modern twists. The OCBDs, knit polos, rugbies and hats look cool. I'm a man, butbthe women's collection looks cool too, I like the madras set, the knit t-shirts, and the sailboat sweater.
My style combines preppy, casual, and rugged elements. I tend to use selvedge jeans most days with the occasional chino. I use OCBDs throughout the year with a nice sweater when it's cold, I also wear rugbies in the fall, winter, and spring. In the spring and summer I wear knit polos and piqué t-shirts. I have lots of good jackets for my blue and earth color outfits (e.g., a Barbour Bedale, a J.Crew barn coat, a Todd Snyder quilted light blue bomber, a suede trucker, etc.). However, I don't have anything that matches well when I wear outfits that are black or grey, particularly for transitional weather. What piece would you recommend?
