First calibration/lockout

Today I had my first calibration. I hadn’t really had any problems my whole first month using it. Went and had the calibration and he told me he had to switch out the device. No clue why but anyway I paid him one on my way. I get home and I see. I have a random $80 fee on there and I look and it says it’s a lockout fee. I have no idea why or how. I never seen anything about a lockout on my device mentioned at all. Never failed a test. Don’t believe I missed any retest or literally anything. Could the guy switching the device out have caused a lockout? Of course I’m gonna try to call them tomorrow, but we know how that goes.

Ignition Interlock License

I cannot get anyone on the phone at the DMV at all. For weeks. I have the ignition interlock permit. Have the device installed. I need to take a test, which I have scheduled. I lost the paper I brought from the DMV when I got my permit, but I’m pretty sure I was told I do not need to file any more forms. Just had to take the test and pay for license. But I feel like there was something else. I’m so scared I’m gonna go and not have something done. Like I said, I’ve already made it as far as getting the permit and I just want to make sure I don’t waste my day as well as anyone who’s coming with me. I’m pretty sure he said I did not have to file for the ignition in our walk petition because my privileges had been restored. Does anyone have any feedback on this? Like I said, I cannot get anyone on the phone at all.

Anyone not have a horror story?

So, I’m starting this next week. I do not drink anymore. At all. I also don’t drive a whole lot, either. No probation. The initial joy at getting this taken care of and working on getting my license back after some screw ups 20 years ago is wearing off, the more I read. Has anyone had a not horrible experience with this?

Physical copy of insurance card for drivers license test

So I am scheduled to take my drivers test and I see one of the requirements are a copy of my car insurance card, which makes sense. However, it says no photocopies are accepted. Only the original document and they don’t send cards. I have a digital document I could print, but doesn’t that fall under the No photocopies?
