Is it typical to point out corrections on PPI claims after receiving the worksheet list
I'm going through the process of personal property inventory and had submitted a lot of my items already. My max is 20k, and I didn't submit absolutely everything but what I thought might be enough to at least hit 20k.
I noticed on the worksheet list my agent sent back to me a lot of my items had "enter price" and were priced at $0 (even before depreciation.) I checked on my end to see if I just forgot to put a price down but all of my items had the prices and receipts attached...
For example, I listed a canon printer priced around 350$ bought within the last year with the receipt, but they listed it as $0.
I've spoken with my agent to make some fixes for things that were completely mislabeled, for example a lot of electronics are listed as sports items/something totally unrelated, and also fixed a few egregious pricing mistakes (my pc was listed as $800 instead of $2000) Now that its the weekend to look thoroughly, there are just a lot of empty lines with no costs labeled at all. Is this typical of the process and specific items are just not worth anything on an insurance standpoint? Should I go through and highlight what needs fixing?
I am technically over limit, but with depreciation im 5k under limit. I realistically cannot replace everything to gain back that depreciation value so I'm wondering if submitting the rest of my items and highlighting what needs to be fixed would be viable, or if I shouldn't bother.
I know I can call, but I've already spoken with her about it and she addressed some things but not the $0 value items.
