Cicada killer wasps

Does anyone have a pest company that has successfully gotten rid of cicada killer nests in your yard and prevented them from coming back the following year?

My current company says there is nothing they can do.

They’re tearing up my yard and I get more and more nests each year. I’m in a townhouse with a very small yard so not sure if there’s anything that can be done especially if my neighbors don’t get treatment as well.

Lawn maintenance companies

I don’t need someone to mow but I would like any re commendations on companies in the Frederick area that would put weed killer/prevention, fertilizer, and grass seed down as needed.

Pre-emergent help in Maryland

I live in central Maryland area between Baltimore and DC. My lawn is full of weeds and I need help figuring out what pre-emergent to use and an overall plan. I used Anderson’s barricade in the spring which prevent crabgrass beautifully. However I still have a lot of other weeds in my lawn such as purple deadnettle, chickweed, viola/wild violets, dandelion, sorrel, clover, speedwell, horseweed, and plantain. Maybe some others too but those are what I’ve identified so far.

I’ve read you can use the Anderson’s in fall and spring. But I need something else to prevent the other weeds as well. Any suggestions on what to use for pre-emergent? I haven’t put down any post-emergent this year as I’m not sure what to use for that either so if there are any suggestions that would be great. But at this point in the season, I’m more focused on making a plan for pre-emergents moving forward.

If I use 2 different pre-emergents, should I do one in the fall and one in the spring or what would you suggest?

Additionally, I imagine I will need grass seed as well as there are already a lot of bare spots just from the lack of crabgrass this year. What would the timing look like for that? Or do I just need fertilizer?

Just a girl trying to figure this out. I’d appreciate any help I can get!

Variety pack for tea gift?

Looking for a variety pack of bagged teas (no loose leaf please) for a gift. Any recommendation on brands?

I’m in the US and am looking for a good mix in variety- different types of teas and different flavors.

Alternatively, I’m also open to hearing your favorite bagged teas that aren’t in a variety pack as I could always make my own variety basket. He especially loves lemon tea so if anyone has any favorite lemon or citrusy teas that could work.

Thanks!

Better homes and garden percale

Has anyone tried Walmart’s better homes and garden percale sheets? I saw them on sale at my store and am curious if they’re any good.

Best budget Percale from HomeGoods

What are the best percale brands from Homegoods?

Or budget percale in general? I’ve seen mixed reviews of target’s as it has gone down hill recently it seems.

Pre filling bags with loose leaf tea

My boyfriend loves tea but only buys cheap tea bags from a normal grocery store. His favorite tea he’s ever had was a loose leaf from a tea place, but he has said he doesn’t want to deal with the extra steps that come with loose leaf tea.

For his birthday, I was thinking about getting him his favorite loose leaf tea , and pre-filling disposable tea bag’s (from Amazon) for him, so he can have his favorite tea, but also have the convenience of a tea bag.

Does anyone pre fill bags with loose leaf tea? I’d probably put all of the bags into a big jar to keep it sealed. Would doing this affect the quality at all?
